Effect of Link Beam and Span Length on EBF Frames Ductility
EBF frames are widely used because of suitable ductility, stiffness and energy absorbent. In these frames the length of link beam has considerable effect on the behavior of frame. In this study 3, 5, 7,9,12 stories EBF frames with different length of link beam and frame span has been modeled with sap2000. Nonlinear static analysis has been considered for all the frames and the results have been shown as the force – displacement diagrams and schedules. Finally effect of link beam and span length on EBF frames ductility has been argued.
